2024 StoryWorlds for HighTide Theatre

I facilitated eight weeks of drama classes and rehearsed a production with year two students exploring storytelling and performance, which culminated in a performance at the Marina Theatre, Lowestoft.

2023 Rattus Rattus, Rosa Torr, Inn Crowd & Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Commissioned by National Centre for Writing, Norwich.

Solo touring show, written and performed by Rosa exploring mental heath, family and rats.

2022 Starling, Sadie Clark, First Light Festival & New Wolsey

Rehearsed reading for two work-in-progress sharings staged by HighTide. Starling explores queer identity in rural communities, farming and climate anxiety. 

2022 community ensemble in Henry VI: Rebellion, RSC/ Norwich Theatre

I directed a group of fourteen community participants, who joined the Henry VI company in Stratford for a week of performances.

2021/22 In development: Where We Dwelt, National Centre for Writing & Norwich Synagogue, Norwich

ACE funded R&D with my company Tombola. A show about Norwich’s medieval Jewish community. For more information please see Tombola’s website.

2021 End Cubicle, Kat Rose-Martin, HighTide at New Wolsey

Rehearsed reading for HighTide’s Inventing The Future Festival. Set over a few hours in a nightclub toilet End Cubicle is a love letter to every woman who’s ever met a toilet lass, took a selfie with a toilet lass, or been a toilet lass.

A full production with MFA musical theatre and acting students in training.

2020/21 In development: John Barleycorn Must Die, The Nave, Norwich

ACE funded R&D with my company Tombola. A show about land, taking up the mantle of a family farm and the risks run by those who produce our food. For more information please see Tombola’s website.

2020 Two Gentlemen of Verona, William Shakespeare, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts

A project with second year actor-musicians in training.

2020 Look No Hands, Lila Clements, Online

I was dramaturg and director for this piece in its early development; it went onto be developed by Pleasance, Pitlochry and Seven Dials Playhouse. The play received the National Partnership Award 2021 and will be performed at Summerhall, Edinburgh in 2022.

 A schools/ village hall tour production [FOUR WEEK RUN] adapted for three actors: foregrounding race and gender.
